Vianordis is a European SaaS product for governing how people, AI agents, and digital systems act, decide, and produce verifiable evidence. It is developed and operated by GoSec Cloud OÜ, and builds on an engineering vision its founder first explored in 2006.

Vianordis connects people, AI agents, systems, policies, controls, and evidence in one governed environment, so organisations can define responsibility, control consequential actions, and produce evidence showing which identity acted, what authority applied, which controls ran, and what outcome was recorded. It connects five things usually scattered across separate tools: identity — who or what is acting; authority — what they may do; policy — which rules apply; action — what is requested, approved, executed, or rejected; and evidence — what shows how and why the outcome occurred.

A digital world in which intelligent systems stay understandable, governable, and accountable — where the audit trail, the authority behind an action, and the evidence for a decision are properties of the system rather than paperwork bolted on afterwards. Vianordis is being built so European organisations introducing AI into complex or regulated operations have a credible, inspectable, and accountable choice.
The third implementation of a continuing vision.
The direction stayed the same across three technology eras. The instruments changed.
Early server virtualisation made an integrated digital workplace feasible for the first time. A first implementation explored the idea that an organisation's complete digital workplace could exist as one coherent environment. The market, the economics of the period, and the founder's experience were not yet aligned, and it did not become a sustainable business. The bearing it set remained valid: digital work should be integrated, controllable, and understandable — not assembled from disconnected tools.
By 2018, cloud had become normal, but organisations still ran on disconnected systems for identity, communication, infrastructure, security, and administration. A second generation was built as an operational internal SaaS environment. It showed that real integration needs more than a shared interface — it needs working relationships between identity, permissions, infrastructure, security, automation, ownership, and evidence.
By 2025, capable AI had changed what software could do — but bolting assistants onto separate products did not resolve the fragmentation underneath. Vianordis was fully re-engineered around one principle: AI must not sit on the outside of the system. It must act as a governed participant — through identity, authority, policy, human approval, and evidence, from within the architecture.
Vianordis is now operated as a working SaaS product. The task now is organisational, not another reinvention. GoSec Cloud OÜ is building the team, assurance, operations, and European community that make Vianordis dependable beyond its founder. Vianordis is developed, operated, and currently licensed by GoSec Cloud OÜ. Validated Covered Vianordis Code may be released by GoSec under GNU AGPLv3 and may also be licensed under a separate paid Commercial Licence. The planned OpenSovereign Alliance Foundation becomes issuer of new licences only after formation, transfers, and a documented cutover; existing GoSec licences remain valid.

Founder-built. Building the European core team. Vianordis was engineered as a one-founder project. The next phase is a five-to-ten-person European core organisation supported by contributors, Navigators, partners, and customers.
Yves builds from a simple rule, borrowed from Paul Graham: live in the future, then build what's missing. For more than two decades he has helped banks, insurers, public organisations, and European businesses modernise the way they work. Again and again, he saw the same gap: teams wanted the speed and intelligence of modern cloud services, but they also wanted control, clarity, and protection under European rules. Vianordis is his answer to that gap. The company is built between two forces: the courage to imagine better ways of working, and the discipline to use proven, dependable technologies where they already serve people well. Innovation is not treated as novelty for its own sake. It is used to remove friction, protect trust, and build the things European organisations will need next.

GoSec Cloud OÜ
The company behind Vianordis. It develops, commercialises, and operates the SaaS, and is responsible for customer contracts, service delivery, support, and investment.

The SaaS product and product brand used by customers. It is a product, not a legal entity — it does not sign contracts, own trademarks, or grant licences by itself.
OpenSovereign Alliance Foundation (planned)
A planned Estonian sihtasutus (foundation) intended to hold or control the Vianordis source-code rights, grant both the public AGPLv3 and the paid commercial licence, and administer the trademarks — only after legal formation and the required rights transfers. It has no members and does not issue equity.
Covered Vianordis Code is being prepared for progressive release under GNU AGPLv3 (AGPL-3.0-only), with a separate paid commercial-licence path. GoSec Cloud OÜ currently develops, operates, commercialises, and licenses Vianordis. OpenSovereign Alliance Foundation is planned to receive agreed rights and issue all new licences only after a documented cutover; existing GoSec licences remain valid.

Now — GoSec owns or controls and licenses the relevant Vianordis IP. Core release — GoSec issues AGPL and commercial licences. Foundation formation — legal and governance work is completed. Cutover — agreed IP transfers and the Foundation issues new licences. Legacy run-off — GoSec licences continue to expiry or perpetually. Permanent model — the Foundation licenses while GoSec operates and provides services.
